Why a templated BEP from the internet doesn't survive contact with your team.
Most BIM execution plans are written to satisfy a tender requirement, not to be followed. They get filed after submission and the team reverts to whatever workflow it already knew — which means the standard exists on paper and nowhere else.
We write execution plans and standards that match the team's actual software, actual skill level, and actual project pipeline — then we stay through the first few projects to make sure the plan is the thing people open, not the thing people forget.
A standard nobody follows isn't a standard. It's a document.

Software licenses, team skill level, existing templates, and past project pain points — assessed honestly before anything is prescribed.
Author the BEP / EIR
Execution plan and exchange information requirements written to match the team's real workflow, not a generic template.
Select the CDE and stack
Platform recommendation — BIM 360, ACC, Trimble Connect, or whatever fits the client's existing IT environment and budget.
Train the team
Role-specific training delivered against the new standard, not a generic software course.
Support the first live project
Embedded support through the first project running on the new standard, with adjustments made from what actually happens at desk level.
The engagement ends when the standard survives without us in the room — not when the document is delivered.
